As their lockout nears three months, Butler caregivers have made significant movement to reach a contract agreement

Providence: Since bargaining resumed with Care New England on Wednesday, August 6th, Butler workers have offered two counterproposals that significantly reduces the financial distance between the two parties in order to end the lockout. Caregivers will discuss the movement they have made to reach an agreement and will call on management to bargain in good faith. This week achieves a new milestone as the Butler unfair labor practice lockout - Rhode Island's longest hospital strike - reaches three months on Friday, August 15.
